06/27/2010 - 8:00pm

09:00am tentative
We are once again traversing the Cascade’s in June to travel East for a short overnighter with the hopes of finding enough food to fill you up. We can only fit the first 60 people for this as they do not have a very large restaurant. They finally have some electricity but only for lights. you will need to bring cash $30 each for dinner (rounded up with gratuity). We are going to LaPine for our overnight stay at the Best Western Newberry Station. They have rooms reserved under Rose City H.O.G. and are giving us the corporate rate for our group. We will be stopping along the way probably in Sisters for lunch and then on to LaPine to get settled in the motel.

We will leave about 4:15pm travel 55 miles for a dinner you have to see to
believe. The Crew at The Cowboy Dinner Tree will bring you a salad, then
soup, Fresh dinner rolls with whipped butter, then the main course will
arrive, Steak (28-32-oz.) and baked potato, or Chicken (a Whole One) and a
baked potato, then when you think you can’t eat any more they bring your
desert. We will then return to LaPine for the evening. Possibly for Root-beer
Floats.

10:00AM
We will be taking a different route home but it will double back a little bit. or you can decide to branch out on your own to travel home at your leisure or stay with the group for another scenic ride through the Cascades.
