Chapter ride to Cannon Beach Sand Castles
• Sign in 8 to 8:30am at Latus Motors
• Ride leaves Latus Motors at 9am

Some information on the Sand Castle Ride to Cannon Beach from John Clark & Frank Day-

Because of the length of the ride ( time wise), we will need to leave Latus between 9:00 and 9:15 am. The ride itself will be approximately 145 miles to Cannon Beach. It will be a destination ride.

Judging for the Sand Castles begins at 1:30. There will be a BBQ at the
Chamber of Commerce starting at 2:00. There is a concert scheduled in the park from 2:30 to 5:30. There are many fine restaurants in Cannon Beach.

Due to the popularity of this event, parking will be first come first parked. I spoke to the local police and they told me that we may park in any legal public Parking. No help there. The chamber said we could park on the beach. I for one do not wish to try to pick my bike up in the sand. I plan to go to the Tolovana public parking area. When we get there, the ride will end. Everyone will be free to park where the may find room and will be on there own at that time.

The weather may be a factor. I hope we will be dry and warm. It should be a fun ride.
