The riding season is in full swing for Rose City HOG Members. Plenty of rides and events to keep you in the saddle of your Harley-Davidson, having fun twisting the throttle as you look over (or through) the handle bars.

Our Road Captains have put together some awesome rides for us to attend! From Chapter Rides to Chapter Picnic Rides, Chapter Dinner Rides… and we can’t forget that great Chapter Overnighter!

We have a great HOG Team that works well together… planning and orchestrating the rides, taking the photos, getting the interviews, keeping track of the money, producing the newsletter, creating our website and keeping it up to date, keeping us informed of safety, keeping track of our membership (398), working with our Ladies of Harley and keeping track of me… lots going on behind the scene. There is a list of the HOG Team names in the newsletter and on the website. Give them a Thank You next time you see them for volunteering and making Rose City HOG a Ride and have Fun Chapter!

August is not letting up on things to keep you out there riding.

  • Aug 2nd Chapter Ride / Sign in 9-9:30am leaves Latus at 10am
  • Aug 3rd Salem HOG Poker Run / Sign in 8am leave Latus at 8:30am to go to their starting point.
  • Aug 10th Ladies of Harley Chapter Ride / Meet at Starbucks Coffee on Gresham (where Powell and
    Burnside meet / by Hillcrest Sports) sign in 9-9:30am ride leaves at 10am
  • Aug 13th Chapter Dinner Ride / Sign in 5:30pm leaves Latus at 6pm
  • Aug 16th Group Riding Class / Sign in at Latus 10-10:30am Class starts at 11am
  • Aug 17th Chapter Ride / Sign in 9-9:30am leaves Latus at 10am
  • Aug 24th Chapter Ride to the All Harley Drags / Sign in 9-9:30am leaves Latus at 10am. Cost to buy a ticket
    will be about $20-$25 / Bring your HOG Card for a discount.
  • Aug 26th Chapter Meeting 7pm at the Milwaukie Center (doors open from 6-9pm)
To go along with all of the above, many of you will be traveling to Sturgis, SD and I know that lots of you are going to have an awesome time riding to Milwaukee, WI for Harley-Davidson 105th Celebration and HOG 25. Be sure to take your cameras and bring back lots of pictures for the website and newsletter.
